Income and expenditure

The income and expenditure report shows what you've actually collected for your event, with everything deducted from it, down to a single net income figure.

Starting from income collected, the report deducts:

  • Refunded — the total refunded to buyers
  • Stripe fees — payment processing fees, converted to your event's currency where Stripe settled in a different one
  • Application fees — platform fees charged on your sales
  • Taxes — a line per tax rate (for example, "VAT (23%)"), so you can see exactly what you owe at each rate

What's left is your net income. Lines that are zero are hidden, so you only see deductions that apply to your event.

Income collected means money you've actually received: completed orders in full, plus any partial payments already received against orders that are still awaiting the balance (for example, part-paid bank transfers). The outstanding balance on those orders appears in the pending income report instead — the two reports reconcile exactly, and a link to the pending income report appears below the table whenever there is pending income.

Use the date filter to limit the report to orders created in a given period.
